How we work

Part-time access to a full-time growth leader.

We've seen this movie many times, at over 20 brands across 14 years: CAC creeps up, a channel saturates, measurement breaks, and last year's playbook stops working. Tunomatic applies that pattern matching and battle-tested mental models to help right-size goals with your leadership team, then guides your team to execute and deliver better outcomes.

What we help with

Find where growth is leaking. Fix it at the source.

Most growth problems sit between disciplines, not inside one. Open any discipline to see what Tunomatic does there and the signs it's leaking.

FoundationStrategyBuild the model every channel decision rolls up to.

What we do

  • Map your growth model and unit economicsThe stepwise math from click to renewal, so you can see what a profitable customer costs and which lever is worth pulling.
  • Forecast and plan the budgetBottoms-up channel forecasts and pacing that hold up in the board meeting.
  • Pressure-test big betsRun sponsorships, partnerships and new channels through What You Would Have To Believe before they become commitments.
  • Structure the team and agenciesHiring plans, agency selection and operating rhythms that keep everyone optimizing toward the same number.

Signs it's leaking

  • RenewalAn LTV that doesn't match the model you're spending against.
  • BudgetEvery partner optimizing to a different number.
Foundation · wraps the loopMeasurementKnow what's actually working, and defend it in the board meeting.

What we do

  • Audit the trackingFind the broken pixels, missing events and server-side gaps in Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions and GA4, and spec the fixes for your team.
  • Prove incrementalityDesign lift tests, media mix models and surveys, then decide from a band of confidence instead of one platform's report.
  • Model LTV and paybackCohort-based LTV, CAC by channel and payback curves that tell you how hard you can push.
  • Define the reporting that drives decisionsActuals-vs-forecast trackers and dashboards built around the decisions you make every week.

Signs it's leaking

  • AdPlatforms taking credit for customers you would have gotten anyway.
  • PaidTrial-to-paid slipping while the dashboard celebrates signups.
ReachAcquisitionFind customers you wouldn't have gotten anyway.

What we do

  • Set the paid social and search strategy your agency runsCampaign structure, bidding and conversion signals that teach Meta and Google to find your best customers, reviewed against the numbers every week.
  • Decide which new channels earn a testSize YouTube, CTV, podcasts, creators and offline before they get budget, then judge them on incremental results.
  • Hold partners to performance, not placementSet the terms and targets for affiliate and partner programs, and review whether each one earns its budget.
  • Give app campaigns their own break-even goalsiOS and Android goals by platform, with MMP setup checked before scale.

Signs it's leaking

  • AdCreative fatigue, and platforms taking credit for customers you would have gotten anyway.
  • BudgetCAC keeps climbing and the answer you keep getting is to spend more.
RevenueConversionTurn more of the traffic you already pay for into paying customers.

What we do

  • Prioritize the landing page and checkout testsA ranked test roadmap for your team or CRO partner, ordered by what moves LTV, not just conversion rate.
  • Design the pricing and plan mix testsTrial length, plan structure and price presentation, tested against lifetime value and read out with your team.
  • Define the moment that makes new customers staySet the first session, first week and first 30 days your product and lifecycle teams build toward.
  • Walk the funnel the way your customer doesCheck the live page against the ad and the approved design, on the devices your customers use, and flag what to fix.

Signs it's leaking

  • Landing pageThe page doesn't match the ad, or the live build doesn't match the approved design.
  • CheckoutFriction, slow loads, and a plan mix nobody has tested.
  • TrialPeople sign up but never reach the moment that makes them stay.
  • PaidTrial-to-paid slipping while the dashboard celebrates signups.
Retention and ReferralLifecycleKeep more customers, and turn the loyal ones into a channel.

What we do

  • Find where and why customers leaveCut churn by channel, plan and tenure, and point your team at what keeps the ones who stay.
  • Set the lifecycle journeys your CRM team buildsThe moments that move customers from first purchase to habit to advocacy, and how to measure each one.
  • Design a referral program that pays for itselfIncentives sized with a sensitivity model before launch, so your loyal base feeds Reach again.

Signs it's leaking

  • RenewalEarly drop-off and an LTV that doesn't match the model you're spending against.
  • ReferralHappy customers who are never given a reason or an easy way to bring a friend.
Wraps every stageCreativeKnow what to make next, and why it wins.

What we do

  • Set the creative testing systemChannel-specific testing plans and cadence for your in-house team or creative agency, so winners are found on purpose.
  • Run the creative reviewsWeekly reviews that turn performance data and customer insight into sharper briefs for whoever makes the work.
  • Sharpen messaging and positioningValue propositions that make your place in a crowded market obvious, carried from the ad to checkout.

Signs it's leaking

  • AdCreative fatigue sets in and nobody can say which idea to make next.
  • Landing pageThe page doesn't carry the promise the ad made.

How we think about growth

A few things we believe that don't get said enough.

01

Averages hide the insights.

We de-average every number by cohort, channel, and funnel stage. The leverage is rarely where the average points.

02

You can't skip the model.

Map the math from click to renewal before you scale spend, so every bet can be sized.

03

Measurement is a practice, not a setup.

No single attribution model is right. Triangulate lift tests, MMM, and surveys, and decide from a band of confidence.

04

See what the customer actually sees.

The live page, the search results, and the ad in context often tell a different story than the dashboard.

FAQ

Questions founders ask first.

Who does the execution?
Your team and partners. We set the strategy, design the tests and measurement, review the work, and stay close to the numbers. You get senior judgment without paying agency markup for a junior team.
How much of my time does this take?
The audit needs a kickoff, access, and a readout. Advisory runs on a recurring working session with async check-ins in between, so your team keeps moving without waiting on meetings.
What access do you need?
Read access to your ad accounts and analytics, your subscription or billing data, and time with the people who run growth day to day.
How is this different from an agency or a fractional CMO?
An agency buys and runs media, and a fractional CMO runs your whole marketing function. Tunomatic does neither. We find where the growth model is leaking, set the plan, and hold your agencies and team to it. You get an independent read on whether their numbers hold up.
Who is this not for?
Brands that want someone to run ad accounts day to day, pre-revenue companies, and businesses where paid media is a small share of growth. If you mainly need execution hands, we will say so and point you to people who are good at it.
How long is the commitment?
The Growth Audit is a fixed scope with a readout at the end. Advisory is a recurring engagement that starts after the audit, and Tunomatic client partnerships average 8 months or longer. We agree on the terms before either begins.
